Hope for Shared Parenting: A Fight for Legislative Change
This first video below holds an urgent message of hope—not just for my son, Django, but for every child and parent affected by the silent epidemic of parental alienation. It’s a message that speaks to a critical need for change in our family court system.
For far too long, fathers have been left with no rights, forced to spend tens of thousands of dollars in court battles simply to have a relationship with their children. Parents who violate court-ordered custody agreements face no accountability, and the children are the ones who suffer most. The current system is broken, and a reform is more than necessary.
In this video, we share the inspiring story of Robert Garza, a father who spent 15 years and over $700,000 fighting to be with his son. His fight gives me, a father who has been alienated from his own son for over 13 months, immense hope. Robert Garza's work on crucial legislative reforms—like Texas Senate Bill 718 ("Time Taken, Time Back") and the "Three Strikes Law"—would make equal shared parenting the default, solving many of the most damaging issues related to parental alienation and custody interference.
This video is a powerful reminder that you are not alone. There is a movement rising, and our children need us to fight for them.
